Tiger Saves His Family

Tiger, a Raleigh NC dog saved his family after faulty wiring near a clothes dryer caused a fire in February, 2009. The dog barked loudly and woke up his owner, Velma Boyd. She smelled smoke and ran to get her neighbor, Patricia Calvin, away from the fire.
Firefighters spent three hours putting out the blaze.
