Q & A - Hydration After Massage
by: Pat, Michigan

Q: I have heard that dogs need water after a good massage, is that true? Why?

A: During a massage, toxins such as lactic acid are released into the system. This is true for people and pets. Drinking lots of water after a massage helps to wash these toxins out of your body and helps to cleanse your system.
