Q & A - Trying To Hear Animals
by: Barbara, Oklahoma

Q: I try and try and still can’t hear anything from my animals. What am I doing wrong? I’ve read every book on the subject and still nothing. Why can’t I hear my animals like you can? Please help.”

A: Thank you Barbara for writing in.

Your frustrations are very common so let me share some insights for you. There could be several things happening with your communication skills. There are other ways to receive a message from an animal and it may not be something you hear.
You may be receiving messages through emotions or feelings. This is how many of us get our first message. It comes as a sense of knowing something that we really shouldn’t be able to know. It’s called clairsentience in the metaphysical world.

Learning how you receive messages from your animals is not difficult once you know what to listen for, or in some cases, what to be open to. It takes a few simple steps and willingness on your part but if I can learn how to hear the animals then I believe most anyone else can too.

Here are some quick tips:

  • Take Your Time And Be Patient
  • Keep A Journal - Chart your progress
  • Don’t Try Too Hard
  • Keep Practicing
  • Trust What You Get
  • Take a Class - The Best Way To Learn

Trust what you get…

The hardest part for me was to know what to look for, what to listen to and what to be open to. I had to learn how to do that. As a small child these steps came naturally and without any effort. As an adult I had to learn to refresh my memory and relearn these steps. First I saw images, shapes and colors. Some of it made no sense to me at all. After a while I began to understand what some of the images were. One horse I was connecting with sent me an image of her eye. I could also feel her body move into my space. Not all messages are audible.
